Shruti Tandon
Shruti has been practicing since 2016.
Shruti has been involved in matters relating to advising extensively on labour laws involving hiring and firing policies, employee handbooks and policies, sexual harassment complaints, regulatory compliances, payment of statutory benefits, retirement policies, advised relating to retrenchment and lay-off procedure that can be adopted in a smooth manner. Also, she has advised on retainers/employee’s/contractor contracts and various MOU’s as required by respective clients.
She has been involved in advising and drafting various casting director agreements for various shows, films and television for casting done by the casting director, advised clients relating to PR Agreements, advised, negotiated and drafted the term sheets for various matters where we have represented an actor/director/producer and also drafted various services and artists agreements.
Shruti has advised extensively on the data privacy regulations under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and on IPR matters including filing of trade-mark applications and dealing with opposition and copyright issues such as obtaining registration certificates from the copyright societies. She has advised leading jewellery designer with cease and desist notices; copyrights and trademark application.
Her experience also includes advising extensively on compounding under the RBI Regulations and worked on matters pertaining to overseas direct investments, banking, restructuring and due diligence of the labour and corporate side of the Company. Shruti has also been involved in handling issues in relation to stamp duty and negotiable instruments and disputes related thereto.
