Parinam’s intellectual property law practice encompasses patent and trademark search, advice and assisting on registration of trademarks, designs, patents and copyrights, handling objections, opposition and rectification proceedings. Parinam has also assisted clients in licensing of intellectual properties in various industries such as film and television, jewellery and lifestyle brands and products, defence, consumer goods etc.

Parinam specializes in ‘IP Portfolio Management’ which includes aspects of filing of PCT applications, national phase applications, payment of annuities in different countries, handling patent examinations, filing of trademark applications in various Member States of the Madrid Protocol and System.

The team has also assisted clients in complying with data security and privacy laws and has helped formulate terms of use and privacy policies for various clients (including websites and mobile applications). The team has been involved in making observations and recommendations on the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2018.
