Successfully represented a leading industrial house that was running and operating a electricity co-generation plant in the in the counter-party’s sugar factory premises. The counter-party made attempts to oust the clients representatives from the said co-generation plant and take over the said plant illegally and unlawfully. In this backdrop, Parinam filed a Petition before the Bombay High Court under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, and secured a mandatory interim injunction against the counter-party, wherein they were interalia restrained from disturbing and/or interfering with the clients use and occupation of their co-generation plant premises. The said case raised and answered several important questions of law, and was reported by the Hon’ble Bombay High Court.
