Advised a well-known defence company in its transaction with an international entity for setting up a joint venture for manufacture and supply of arms and ammunition, by taking benefit under the provisions of the Defence Acquisition Procedure 2020. We have structured the deal keeping in mind the foreign exchange regulations and bi-lateral treaties between India and certain other countries, , undertaken preparation and negotiation of requisite documentation outlining the proposed structure, assisted in licensing of intellectual property and transfer of technology, and advised on the legal approvals/ permissions/ consents required from appropriate government departments for setting up a factory in India
