She has more than a decade of experience in commercial litigation and is known for her pragmatic approach towards dispute resolution and her in-depth analysis of the subject. She has a penchant for handling challenging and complex litigations. During the span of her career, Monisha has successfully handled several contentious litigations relating to contractual disputes, property disputes, intellectual property rights, writs, arbitrations, and competition law. She has conducted and assisted counsels in proceedings before various courts and tribunals including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts at Bombay, New Delhi, Chennai, National Green Tribunal, MahaRERA and Competition Commission of India. She has significant experience in the real estate sector and has represented numerous developers and litigants. Her expertise in intellectual property law includes advising and representing celebrities, influencers, authors, media and production houses and pharmaceutical companies in infringement claims. Her work in arbitration entails advising and representing domestic and international clients in institutional and ad hoc arbitrations and ancillary proceedings in courts across India. She is fluent and well-versed in drafting plaints, company petitions, writ petitions, interim applications, affidavits, statements of claim, statements of defence, settlement terms, and RERA complaints. Before joining Parinam at its inception in 2018, Monisha worked at Juris Corp, ALMT Legal and Crawford Bayley & Co. While pursuing her LL.M. in the United Kingdom, she received the opportunity to work at ALMT Legal’s London office. Her experiences at these firms have deepened her knowledge and enriched her professional outlook.

Advising and representing Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. in various cases filed in relation to the COVI SHIELD vaccine.

Advised and represented an Indian pharmaceutical company before the LCIA in a contractual dispute with a US company in relation to claims of intellectual property theft and infringement of trade secrets.

Advised and represented an Indian pharmaceutical company in a case before the Competition Commission of India pertaining to price coordination and cartelization with respect to Type-2 Diabetes Drug.

Advising and representing National Stock Exchange of India Limited before the Bombay High Court in a trademark infringement suit against unknown perpetrators who published and circulated content infringing NSE’s trademark and Deepfake videos using the features of a senior NSE official and his AI generated likeness.

Defending an award of Rs. 125 crores in favour of Clear Channel India Pvt. Ltd. before the Bombay High Court in a petition filed under the Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 by the MCGM.

Advised and represented Zee Sports Ltd. in an arbitration dispute relating to broadcast rights and represented them before the Bombay High Court and Supreme Court of India.

Advised and represented, Fairview Investments Limited, a Mauritius based company for execution of a foreign award passed by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.

Advising and representing Reliance Entertainment Studios Pvt. Ltd. before various Courts in relation to infringement claims and disputes filed by and against them.

Advised and represented T-series Entertainment Private Limited in proceedings relating to the Film ‘Adipurush’ before the Supreme Court of India and other Courts in India as well as in relation to the Film ‘Faraaz’ before the Delhi High Court.

Advised and represented M/s. Cape of Good Films LLP before the Delhi High Court in relation to the Film ‘Ram Setu’ and successfully obtained ad-interim injunctive reliefs against several rogue websites which were preparing to infringe the copyright of the client.

Advising and representing Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. and its CEO, Mr. Adar Poonawalla in a defamation proceeding before the Bombay High Court; and obtained injunctive reliefs in their favour.

Advising and representing Indiabulls Properties Pvt. Ltd. and their group entities before the various forums and Courts in Mumbai in relation to their contractual disputes.

Advising and representing Nexus Select Mall Management Private Limited in relation to disputes pertaining to leave and license agreements.

Advised and represented Goel Ganga Developers before the National Green Tribunal and Supreme Court of India in relation a notification issued by the Union Government, Ministry of Environment & Forest under the provisions of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.

Advised and represented Embassy Property Development Pvt. Ltd. before the National Green Tribunal in relation to a dispute concerning environment clearance for IT parks and ITES units under the IT Policy 2003.

Advised and represented Hyundai Corporation in a dispute with an Indian company in respect of a sales contract for sale of 10,000 metric tons of rolled coils before the Bombay High Court.

Advised and represented Balaji Group of Institutions and Indira Group of Institutes in several writ petitions before the Bombay High Court.
