Parinam is successful in obtaining an order quashing criminal proceedings initiated against its client under Section 188 and 328 of the Indian Penal Code, for storage of ‘pan masala’. The matter is presently pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, wherein the Hon’ble Supreme Court is deciding an important question of law with respect to the applicability of Section 328 and 188 of the Indian Penal Code in respect of storage of ‘pan masala’. Parinam is representing the client before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, wherein the clients matter is the lead matter in a batch of Petitions involving the same/similar questions of law.
